“Su invito dell’Istituto Italiano di Cultura di Bogotá, della Comfenalco e della Fundaciòn Batuta, la flautista Francesca Canali è stata in Colombia dal 24. Marzo al 24. Aprile 2013 per tenere una serie di concerti (13 Concerti), attività didattiche educative e masterclass in varie Università Colombiane.
Le attività di formazione ed insegnamento svolte dal M° Canali sono state sia per i ragazzi che per i docenti presenti una apprezzatissima occasione di arricchimento artistico, umano e culturale.
Ci preme segnalare l’eccellente lavoro di formazione con docenti e studenti di strumenti a fiato che Francesca Canali ha svolto nelle sedi di Bogotá (Universidad Javeriana e Fundación Batuta), Medellin (Universidad EAFIT), Leticia e Paipa (Fundación Batuta), Cartagena (Comfenalco).
Si sottolinea inoltre il notevole contributo offerto dall’artista unitamente ad altri docenti nordamericani, nell’attività di formazione ed insegnamento in favore dell’Orchestra Giovanile di Colombia, sostenuta dalla Fundación Batuta e dalla Fondazione Bolivar Davivienda.
Particolare successo di pubblico hanno inoltre riscosso i suoi concerti tenutesi a Bogotá, Leticia, Cartagena, Ibagué.
I responsabili delle varie sedi di Batuta hanno già richiesto per il prossimo anno almeno due ulteriori momenti di collaborazione.
In tal senso l’Istituto Italiano è orgoglioso di aver potuto, attraverso l’attività svolta dal M° Canali, dare un contributo concreto allo sviluppo artistico, culturale e professionale di future generazioni di giovani musicisti colombiani.”

„Gentile Maestro, desidero esprimerLe il mio più vivo apprezzamento per le numerose attività musicali di cui è stata protagonista durante il Suo recente soggiorno in Sud Africa e Paesi vicini (Zimbabwe e Mozambico).
Numerosi colleghi di altre Ambasciate e figure del mondo culturale sudafricano hanno tenuto a manifestarmi il loro entusiasmo per l’altissima qualità dei Suoi concerti a Pretoria e Città del Capo (analoghe segnalazioni mi sono pervenute dai miei colleghi di Maputo ed Harare) e per la grande sensibilità e simpatia con cui è riuscita a stabilire un dialogo con un pubblico attento e competente.
Anch’io ricordo con grandissimo piacere i due concerti cui ho avuto il privilegio di assistere, la Sua sensibilità interpretativa e la Sua capacità di entrare in perfetta sintonia con le sue accompagnatrici al pianoforte nonostante le poche prove.
Ai concerti si è aggiunta la Sua straordinaria attività didattica (25 tra Masterclasses e Workshops) a vantaggio di giovani sudafricani, zimbabwani e mozambicani, spesso provenienti dai quartieri più poveri e degradati: le sue capacità di comunicazione hanno avuto un impatto davvero non comune su questi giovani, ed hanno dato un contributo notevolissimo al loro sviluppo artistico ed umano.
Durante il mese della Sua presenza in questo Paese Lei è insomma riuscita a farsi apprezzare e benvolere da innumerevoli persone: le ricadute positive per l’immagine dell’Italia in Sud Africa sono pertanto state eccezionali, e di questo Le sono estremamente riconoscente.”

MOZAMBICO, Ambasciata d’Italia a Maputo
„Nell’ambito di una cooperazione tra l’Ambasciata d’Italia e l’ECA-Escola de Comunicacao e Arte di Maputo la musicista Francesca Canali ha tenuto una settimana di Masterclass a cui hanno partecipato un totale 34 giovani musicisti mozambicani.
Il progetto si è concluso con un doppio concerto in cui la musicista ha suonato come solista accompagnata al pianoforte e poi ha diretto alcuni pezzi lavorati con gli studenti durante la settimana precedente in ensemble ed Orchestra di flauti.
Il concerto e tutta l’iniziativa hanno riscosso un grande successo suscitando grandissimo entusiasmo negli ascoltatori intervenuti numerosi.
Attorno a questo progetto si è creato un forte entusiasmo non solo per l’alto livello del concerto che ha chiuso il ciclo di lezioni, ma soprattutto per la qualità dell’attività didattica da Lei portata avanti. Sono convinto che tale risultato sia stato possibile non solo grazie alle sue indiscusse doti artistiche ma anche grazie alle sue eccellenti doti umane e di comunicazione, che in pochissimo tempo, Le hanno permesso di entrare in perfetta sintonia con i musicisti mozambicani. Auspico dunque vivamente che il suo progetto di formazione di musicisti mozambicani possa proseguire sostenuto da questa Ambasciata attraverso la collaborazione avviata con l’ECA e l’Università E. Mondlane di Maputo“

Frau Canali gibt sich nicht mit schnellem Erfolg zufrieden, sie geht den Dingen auf den Grund und so lebt ihr pädagogische Grundhaltung auch von wissenschaftlich fundierten Erfahrungswerten.
lhre eigenen künstlerischen Qualitäten stellt sie laufend als Solistin und Kammermusikerin unter Beweis und ist damit ein leuchtendes Vorbild für viele Lehrerinnen und Lehrer.
Aufgrund ihrer kommunikativen und kompetenten Persönlichkeit wird Frau Canali oft als Jurorin bei Musikwettbewerben und auch bei fachlichen Gutachten bei Prüfungen und Personalfragen eingesetzt.
lch konnte sie dabei persönlich mehrmals auch bei Feedbacksgesprächen erleben und weiß daher, dass sie neben ihrer fachlichen Kompetenz auch über hohe emotionelle Intelligenz verfügt.
Frau Canali arbeitet mit hohem Engagement sowohl mit ihrer Klasse, was in herausragende Leistungen bei Prüfungen und Wettbewerben mündet, als auch in der pädagogischen Entwicklung des OÖ. Landesmusikschulwerks, wobei sie sich oftmals mit neuen Ideen und teamorientiert einbringt.

„Die Austrian Master Classes konnten im Jahr 2007 erstmals Frau Mag. Francesca Canaliv als Dozentin für einen Meisterkurs für Querflöte gewinnen. Seither ist sie regelmäßig jedes Jahr sowohl bei Jugendcamps und Kammermusikcamps als auch bei Meisterkursen für Querflöte solo tätig.
Durch ihre überaus kompetente pädagogische Arbeit mit den Studierenden und ihrem stets freundlichen und kollegialen Umgang wurde sie sowohl seitens der TeilnehmerInnen als auch seitens Ihrer DozentenkollegInnen gleichermaßen geschätzt und respektiert.
Ihre pädagogische Arbeit war gekennzeichnet von außergewöhnlichen Fortschritten ihrer SchülerInnen in kürzester Zeit und großem persönlichem Einsatz weit über ihre Unterrichtsverpflichtung hinaus.
Mag. Dr. Francesca Canali hat sich als gesamtkünstlerische Persönlichkeit mit gleichermaßen instrumentaler wie auch pädagogischer und sozialer Kompetenz gezeigt, geprägt von Liebe zur Musik, Begeisterung im Vermitteln ihrer Kompetenzen, persönlichem Engagement als Pädagogin sowie besonderer Wissbegierde.

“Ms. Francesca Canali, during the month of July 2020, has held a series of Masterclasses in the frame of the training programme called “Conservatorio Itinerante Inocente Carreño”, which was established in 2017 by Fundación Musical Simon Bolivar in collaboration with the Hilti Foundation. The Conservatorio aims to offer high level musical education to Venezuelan students and professional musicians, alongside with continuous updates in the areas of teaching and performing techniques. Specifically, in July 2020, a number of five Master Classes, for a total of thirty hours of teaching, were held by Ms. Canali for the advanced students of the Latin-American Flute Academy of El Sistema.
This series of lectures of Ms. CANALI was received with great interest and success, from students and professors alike, and aroused enthusiastic comments. We are happy to report one of them: “Dear Maestra, I wanted to thank you for the wonderful job you did: personally, I not only learned a lot, and I will continue to learn from you in many aspects, but I was also amazed by your pedagogy, your disposition, and your wonderful way of playing the flute. I look forward to the next class. The conversations were exciting and very relevant contentwise for all of us, who really hope it will become the first of many conferences that we may have in the future.” Fundamusical Bolivar and the Hilti Foundation are extremely satisfied and proud of having Maestra Canali within the teaching artists’ roster of their Conservatorio Itinerante and sincerely hope to be able to organize more masterclasses with her in the future.”
